What a wonderful end to a busy half-term!
On Tuesday, the children welcomed the RNLI into the base. We had a great time learning about Grace Darling and water safety. The children posed some excellent questions to the David, the RNLI volunteer.
On Thursday, the children got creative with clay! They made their very own Grace Darling memorabilia. They made commemorative spoons, lighthouses and even Grace Darling’s rowing boat. The children loved experimenting with the different tools, creating lots of different effects to help them build their models.
On Friday, the children enjoyed a science morning. They were set the task to design a boat that wouldn’t sink. The children spent the morning outside, designing different shaped boats and testing them in the water to varying degrees of result!
Thank you for all of your support this half-term. We can’t wait to see you all after the half-term break and to start of ‘Wonderful World’ topic!
